Our History and Business. |

The
company was incorporated on Feb. 25, 1983 as a private
company limited by shares under the Companies Act, 1965
under the name of Ka-Yung Industries (M) Sdn Bhd. On March
13, 1997, it changed its name to Kayun Steel Sdn Bhd,
and on 2003, the company was renamed as Melewar Steel Mills Sdn. Bhd.
And finally, in August 2004 the company name was changed to
Melewar Steel Mills Sdn Bhd.
The company is involved in manufacturing of high tensile
deformed and mild steel round bars of mainly two sizes
of D10 mm & D12 mm and R10 mm & R12 mm. Currently,
our factory is located at at Kelemak Industrial Zone in
Alor Gajah, Melaka. The corporate head office is in Kuala
Lumpur.
